Classes
The last class of 2011 was on Thursday 15th December and, as in past years, the theme was 'Red' and 'Santa' - check out the pictures from Christmas 2009 & 2010 on the left-hand panel.
The first class of 2012 will start on Thursday 12th January
This term will run for 8 weeks, and will progress from the basics through to the core moves of this dance style - the 'Lindy Turn', 'Lindy Circle', and 'Swing-out'.
Each successive term will run for 8 weeks and will follow a similar format, building your dance skills towards the 'Improver' level and beyond.
Previously we had a 15-minute Balboa 'taster' class in between the two Lindy classes, which proved such a success that.....

There is now a full 30-minute Balboa class before the two Lindy
classes, starting at 7.15pm.
Also by popular demand...
And new for 2012, there will be an introduction to Collegiate Shag in the interval between the two Lindy
classes.
Balboa
This dance style is great for the faster tunes (300+ beats-per-minute), not to mention great fun and can be mixed-in with your Lindy moves, so extending your repertoire and increasing your enjoyment of these wonderful dances.To find out more about Balboa: Click Here.
Collegiate Shag

Class Time-table
7:15 to 7:45pm - Balboa - Beginners/Improvers
8:00 to 8:40pm - Beginner-level Lindy
8:40 to 9:15pm - Freestyle practice + Collegiate Shag Introduction
9:15 to 10:00pm - Improvers' Lindy
...until 10:30pm - Freestyle practice

£5.00 - for the whole evening!
Please note, if you are not a WMC member, a temporary
membership charge of £0.50 per visit must also be paid.
